Emberheart

Emberheart is a fast-playing, medium-weight worker placement board game set on a mystical island where the last dragons must be protected from invading poachers. Players take on the role of the King’s Champions, recruiting heroes, rescuing dragons, training a powerful dragon companion, expanding dragon preserves, and launching counterattacks against roaming enemies. Each turn, players choose between gaining special Aide bonuses or strategically sending hirelings to key locations, where committing more workers grants priority over limited rewards. Different types of hirelings and a customizable dragon companion add depth and variety to each decision, while managing the Flame track is crucial to avoid penalties. After five rounds, players earn Glory based on their achievements, and the champion with the highest score is crowned the Dragon Ambassador. 🐉🔥
