Set in 1848, Pandemic Iberia challenges you to assume roles like nurse, railwayman, rural doctor, and sailor to discover cures for malaria, typhus, yellow fever, and cholera. Travel by carriage, boat, or train across the peninsula from Barcelona to Lisboa, using purified water distribution and railway development to contain disease spread. Experience a pivotal moment in history—the construction of the Iberian Peninsula's first railroad during the Spring of Nations. The game includes two optional variants: Influx of Patients, where patients gravitate toward hospitals for treatment with enhanced hospital abilities, and Historical Diseases, giving each disease unique mechanics that authentically represent malaria, cholera, yellow fever, and more.
